Bad Mr. BEE =D
Here is a quick block in that's been timed out and converted to linear for a shot I am doing at Inviro. Basically the bee gets hit, smacks the tree, his stinger gets stuck and he is struggling to get out. I am also responsible for the rig (facial setup done by Rachel Hollenbeck).

Tag!
This is a work in progress shot I am animating for a teaser trailer at Inviro. I rigged both of the characters as well (minus the facial rigging which done by Rachel Hollenbeck) and updates on that will be coming soon:)

Are you mad?
Here is a short animation I have been working on and submitted for the June 11 Second Club. I spent most of my time on story and developing the male character. I plan on pushing this a lot further so right now this is my work in progress. My plan is to develop the story just a little further and work out the animation on the female character a lot more. She seems dull and un-interesting as of now. I also need to work on the lip sync and push some of my poses. Any comments or criticism is welcome!

Character Walk Cycle
I animated this last week to help keep me limber with 3ds Max. It was nice just to be able to animate something for myself. Its a quick little walk cycle, I was going for a proper uptight walk that seemed a little, "butler-ish." Enjoy!

Jeff Gabor Horton Comparison Reel
This is a comparison reel from an extremely talented animator named, Jeff Gabor. Its a side by side comparison of Jeff acting out his shot, the stepped block-in, the spline animation and the final render! I am completely awe struck by his acting and how he emphasizes his acting choices in his work. Its the perfect example of using video reference and then taking it and applying the art of animation to it. Great stuff Jeff!
